🌟My Hotelier Journey – Part 2: My First Step into the Hospitality World

 Sometimes, life changes direction when we least expect it.

When my mom went to a family function, I didn’t attend. At that function, some of our relatives — including my brother-in-law and a few of my sisters — were all from a hotel management background. During their conversations, my brother-in-law spoke about a particular college that was very famous and well-known for hotel management, with good exposure and career opportunities.

He suggested that college to my mom and explained why it could be a great place for my future. After returning home, my mom shared everything with me. That moment made me realize how difficult and important it is to choose the right college to build a strong career.

At first, I had plans to join either a government or a private college. But after hearing about this institution, everything changed. I started thinking deeply, weighing every option, and understanding how one decision could shape my entire future.

Coming from a middle-class family, the biggest challenge was the fees. They were very high, and we couldn’t easily afford them. Because of that, I said no at first — not because I didn’t want the dream, but because I didn’t want to burden my family.

That’s when my mom — the queen of my life — stood strong. She encouraged me, believed in me, and said words I will never forget:
“I will take care of the fees. You just focus on your career and fulfill your dreams.”

Those words gave me the courage to move forward. With her support and faith, I finally made the decision. We went to the college for counseling and admission — and that moment became my first real step into the hospitality world.

This step wasn’t easy, but it was filled with hope, belief, and a mother’s unconditional support. 🌿✨
